Created in 1987, Anprotec is a non-profit association that brings together 420 members, including business incubators, technology parks, accelerators, coworking spaces, teaching and research institutions, public bodies and other entities linked to entrepreneurship and innovation.
Due to its trajectory, directly linked to the development of business incubators and Brazilian technology parks, Anprotec is a leader of the movement in the country, promoting training activities, articulation of public policies and generation and dissemination of knowledge.
The implementation of these environments in different regions disseminated the culture of innovative entrepreneurship in the country, triggering the consolidation of one of the largest global systems of technology parks and business incubators.
Currently, Brazil has 291 business incubators, 61 technology parks in operation, 24 technology parks in the implementation stage and 7 technology parks in the planning stage and 65 accelerators, which involve around 10 thousand innovative companies.
