
UKSPA Summer Conference 2025 – Rothamsted Enterprises
WAINOVA member, the UK Science Park Association (UKSPA) will host its Summer Conference 2025 on 3–4 July at Rothamsted Enterprises, Harpenden—home to one of the world’s oldest agricultural research campuses. The two-day event will bring together members, stakeholders, and innovation leaders to explore key themes shaping the UK’s science and innovation landscape.
The conference will feature keynotes, plenary sessions, expert panels, and best practice showcases, with topics including life sciences, innovation infrastructure, talent and skills, public engagement with R&D, and the road to net zero through landlord-tenant collaboration in science parks.
Notable sessions include:
– The Entrepreneurs’ Journey with startup leaders
– BBSRC Science Campuses Panel, featuring CEOs from the UK’s leading research hubs
– Life Sciences & Real Estate roundtable
– Net Zero Collaboration in Science Parks
– Keynotes on innovation policy, public opinion, and place-based R&D strategies
Delegates will also have the chance to explore Rothamsted’s pioneering facilities, including tours of:
– The Sample Archive, holding over 350,000 plant and soil samples
– The Field Scanalyzer – a cutting-edge crop analysis tool
– The National Insect Survey, tracking insect populations across the UK
The conference will conclude with tours and networking opportunities, including a BBQ and drinks reception on the evening of 3rd July.
