43rd IASP World Conference Heads to Sophia Antipolis This October

The International Association of Science Parks and Areas of Innovation (IASP) will host its 43rd World Conference on Science Parks and Areas of Innovation from 27–30 October 2026 in Sophia Antipolis, France, Europe’s pioneering technology and business hub on the French Riviera.

Theme: “Tech for Humanity: Shaping Values for a Human-Centric Future” This year’s conference centres on how innovation ecosystems can put human values at the heart of technological progress — balancing rapid advances in AI and digital transformation with ethics, inclusion, and social impact.

Programme highlights:

• Day 1 Opening keynote and Plenary 1 on tech diplomacy, exploring how innovation spaces can act as architects of global collaboration, then Plenary 2 on responsible AI — building ethical, inclusive, human-centred intelligent systems followe by a full afternoon of breakout sessions and focus talks on spanning AI and the human factor, sustainable food systems, smart/resilient cities, and cross-border innovation collaboration
• Day 2 breakouts covering inclusive entrepreneurship, healthcare innovation, climate action platforms, future-ready education, creative industries, workforce transformation, and governance/resilience of innovation infrastructure. Plenary 3 on transforming healthcare through inclusive innovation, followed by the IASP General Assembly (members only).
• Day 3 closes with plenaries on brownfield-to-impact transformations and scalable climate action, plus conference takeaways and closing keynote.

The conference also includes technical tours, cultural tours, a welcome reception, informal dinner, and gala dinner.
